Stuart Farnham brings a unique blend of deep agricultural roots and technical manufacturing expertise to his role as Vice President of Farm Sales. Specializing in risk management for farms and food manufacturers, Stuart has dedicated his career to protecting the livelihoods of New England’s agricultural community.

Stuart holds the prestigious Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation, making him one of only a handful of professionals in New England to earn this distinction. This certification reflects his specialized knowledge of the complex liability and property risks unique to commercial agriculture. Complementing his insurance background is a robust 16-year career in Quality Management within the manufacturing sector. His extensive experience overseeing compliance, risk, and operations for food, medical devices, and consumer goods gives him an insider’s understanding of industrial supply chains and production safety.

A passionate advocate for local agriculture, Stuart volunteers his time to strengthen farming networks across Vermont. He actively serves as the President and Secretary of the Windsor County Farm Bureau, on the Orange County Farm Bureau board, and is a member of the Vermont Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Through these leadership roles, he remains at the forefront of the policy issues and economic trends affecting local growers and producers.

Stuart lives in Hartland, Vermont, with his wife, Jessie. When he isn’t helping clients safeguard their businesses, he can be found bicycling the hills of Vermont or enjoying the Maine Coast with Family and Friends.
